Town and Country Quilter's Guild of Joplin was established in 1985  . Our purpose is to promote the art and craft of patchwork and quilting. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the craft, from the beginner to the professional. We invite you to visit our general monthly meetings at First Presbyterian Church, Family Life Center at 6th and Pearl, Joplin Missouri. We meet the 3rd Tuesday every month at 12:00 noon. Please join us for a pot luck lunch followed by an interesting program and general meeting. Every month is packed with fun and creative ideas. You will be a part of a great group of people who have the same interest.

We have an ongoing service project every year. We have made hundreds of quilts, bibs, place mats, baby hats and sun dresses for several local charities and places.

Our July meeting will be on Tuesday July 18th. Barbara Farmer with be teaching "The Ends and Outs of Applique" in room 104 at 11:00 am. No RSVP or sewing machine is needed.

Program: Bring your first quilt and your latest quilt to share with everyone. It will be a show and tell from our own membership.
