come join us in our quilting adventure!

Joplin Area Town and Country Quilters

The Town and Country Quilters of Joplin, Missouri, was established in 1985. Our purpose is to promote the art and craft of patchwork and quilting. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the craft, from beginner to the professional. Annual dues are $15.00. We invite you to visit our general monthly meetings at First Presbyterian Church, 6th and Pearl, Joplin Missouri. We meet the 3rd Tuesday every month at noon for a pot luck luncheon. An educational program, show and tell,  and a business meeting start at 1 p.m. You will be a part of a great group of people who share the same interest as you.

Our Next Meeting

NOTICE - DUE TO THE WEATHER, THE GUILD MEETING SCHEDULED FOR 16 JANUARY HAS BEEN CANCELLED!

The January 16th meeting will feature a fun get to know your fellow members mixer game followed by a winter snowman/snowflake themed show and tell.  Things can look a little barren once Christmas decorations are taken down and packed away so members will be bringing hand made quilts, wall hangings, table runners,  and pillows to share and inspire each other.  And for added motivation, member Jeanie Wyrick from Blue Top Quilt Shop will be vending winter themed sewing projects for our shopping pleasure.

The inclement weather policy states that if Joplin schools are cancelled, the meeting will also be cancelled.
