Come and join us in our Quilting adventure!
Joplin Area Town and Country Quilters
The Town and Country Quilters of Joplin, Missouri, was established in 1985. Our purpose is to promote the art and craft of patchwork and quilting. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the craft, from beginner to the professional. Annual dues are $20.00.

We invite you to visit our general monthly meetings at Peace Lutheran Church on North St. Louis in Joplin Missouri. We meet the 3rd Tuesday every month starting with an educational class at 10:30 am, followed by a pot luck luncheon at noon. We then have a formal program with an invited speaker starting at 1 pm, followed by our monthly business meeting, and ending with a guild member Show and Tell. You will be a part of a great group of people who share the same interest as you.
Our Next Meeting
Each month we will describe the program for the month.  A visitor is welcomed to attend two meetings before becoming a member.

During these unprecedented times, scheduled activities for the Joplin Area Town and Country may change from month to month.  Please scroll down  monthly for an update schedule.

The guild will meet at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Peace Lutheran Church for a program entitled “Crazy About Wool” presented by Dawn Shuck, owner of Sew Cherished from Blue Springs.  She will bring patterns, kits, hand dyed wools, and will do a demonstration of punch needle.

Since social distancing is not possible, all people attending will be required to wear a mask covering their mouth and nose.  The kitchen is still closed so there will be no food or drink.  Please bring your own beverage.

If you have questions about the guild, or the gathering, please use the "Contact Us" tab above and drop us a line.

And until next time, happy quilting!
