come join us in our quilting adventure!

Joplin Area Town and Country Quilters

The Town and Country Quilters of Joplin, Missouri, was established in 1985. Our purpose is to promote the art and craft of patchwork and quilting. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the craft, from beginner to the professional. Annual dues are $15.00. We invite you to visit our general monthly meetings at First Presbyterian Church, 6th and Pearl, Joplin Missouri. We meet the 3rd Tuesday every month at noon for a pot luck luncheon. An educational program, show and tell,  and a business meeting start at 1 p.m. You will be a part of a great group of people who share the same interest as you.

Our Next Meeting

March 20th is  the date of the next meeting.

March is National Quilting Month!

Our educational lecture/class this month will begin at 10:30 on the disappearing nine patch.  It will be taught by Jan Ball.

Following the class will be the covered dish lunch at noon.

At 1 p.m. our featured speaker will be Tim Field, a quilter and weaver, who will be giving a presentation on "Civil War Soldiers Quilts".  Besides learning the interesting history behind these quilts, he will be bringing some to show.
